TRUE Jakarta work presented at Better Air Quality Conference

The findings from TRUE Initiative remote sensing work in Jakarta, Indonesia were presented during the Better Air Quality (BAQ) Conference in Manila.

The BAQ conference, organized by Clean Air Asia, the Asian Development Bank and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, is the largest gathering on air quality in Asia. The conference addresses research, policy, and action on transport, energy, industry, agriculture, and climate change with a particular emphasis on government policies and measures. 

TRUE work in Jakarta was presented during the panel session ‘Urban Development and Transport by Aditya Mahalana, International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) senior researcher. The session highlighted regional policy developments on transport, emission, and electric vehicle policies from across the region including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The session was attended by representatives from governments, universities, NGOs, development banks, and the media.
